Rose Tea Cottage

Where tea is served at half past four

Always remember to forget the things that made you sad
But never forget to remember the things that made you glad

Always remember to forget the friends that proved untrue
But never forget to remember those that have stuck by you

Always remember to forget the troubles that passed away
But never forget to remember the blessings that come each day

My darlings wishing you a week full of sweet blessings.

Thank you Duchess, I needed to hear that today... especially about the part about the friends being untrue... so sad when one loses a friend and does not know why... but I will always remember the ones who have stuck by me, as your post said... beautiful! And the apricots look so delicious... xoxo Julie Marie

Thanks for your visit and kind words. I love your thoughts here and that yummy!
The poem on my post...it's a song, wish I could sing it for you, it's a fun one. Once on a long flight, a little girl in front of me was going crazy and her parents could even handle her...I started sing this little song and doing the actions that go along with it. Pretty soon she was doing it with me...so fun! :D

Dear Duchess,

These wise words are some of the most simple and yet abundantly important advice I have heard in a long time. I feel so strongly about each statement here, and it seems like it is the best way to enjoy life! Thank you for always giving us such inspiration.

I have to tell you that your recent comment on my last post really made me smile also! How sweet of you to show your lovely daughter my photos, and how flattering that she loved it! It is a wonderful dream that she has to travel all over Italy, I hope one day soon she can fulfill! It sounds like she is a brilliant girl to be attending law school, and I am confident she carries the beauty and grace of her wonderful mother!

I do hope you are having a wonderful week!
