Rose Tea Cottage

Where tea is served at half past four

One of the nicest things about life is the way
we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing
and devote our attention to eating.

Pavarotti, My Own Story

Lady R and I thank you sincerely for your good wishes and prayers. She is now home resting comfortably following two difficult and painful operations. I have persuaded her to start yoga and to replace her regular diet with organic lean protein, fruits and vegetables to strengthen her immune system whilst getting her mind and body ready for her upcoming chemotherapy. Please continue to pray for her.

My darlings be good to yourselves and remember
the greatest wealth is health.

Dear Duchess, I did not know that you had posted but came to tell you that I have been thinking of you very often in the last few days. I, of course, have, also, been praying! Then, I've come and seen a sweet message from you. Fruit and veggies are very sweet - you make them look, dare I say it, even more beautiful than your cakes. Also, you should know that, your words to us (especially at the moment) are carrying weight and the ability to echo on. Lead on, Dearest! (We seem to be strongest when we are the weakest and shine brightly when we are cracked and others can see our inner light....)

Love, Katy xxo

Darling Duchess, what a friend you are ! We are all praying for you. Could I also suggest a Chiropractor ? Mine specialises in nutrition and says that a healthy gut is key to general good health. If you can find one near to you I think it really might help. Anything to make your friend more comfortable might be good at this time. She is lucky to have you !
