Hello my darlings, where do I begin? It has been far too long since my last post when sadly and unexpectedly my life took a wrong turn. Bit by bit, my days are starting to take on a semblance of order and I am now ready to slowly resume blogging after a long hiatus.
I am completely lost for words to express the love and gratitude I feel for you, my precious friends. Your frequent visits and sincere concerned comments during my absence are immensely appreciated. It is so heartwarming to see that I have not been forgotten and that you have missed me as much as I have missed you. You are all so good to me my darlings. I wish I could reach into my screen and hug each and every one of you.
It's good to be back.
I will stop by for a cuppa soon.

You absolutely were not forgotten and, actually, when my life has been tearfully bumpy, in the last few months, I've, sometimes, come here for some cheering up. It's amazing what just the thought and sight of flowers and tea time can do. It can't fix all the pains in the world but....well, wait, or....can it??? Maybe, actually, it's been the tea time PLUS your gracious self that you've put in your teatime posts. Soupy!!! but true. =]

Oh yay! You are back!!! It's so nice to see your post. How wonderful to read your sweet words again. Glad to hear your life is slowly (but steadily) going back to normal. Isn't it funny how sometimes we can get tired of our routine wishing we could go do something out of the ordinary. But then, something out of the ordinary happens and we long for that sense of normalcy, the routine that is so familiar to us. Wonderful article, so fun to hear about other people's views on tea and culture. I have been living with a family of tea farmers in Xishuangbanna Yunnan in Southwestern China, the birthplace of tea. The first tea the world ever had is what we now call Puer tea, raw Puer. After spending much time with this family, I have been able to share this tea with folks. The culture, the love, and the way this tea makes you feel is incomparable and the tea is all from one family, one farm.
