I love the photo of the radishes in the water! Those sandwiches look so good :)
If they are good enough for Queen V, they are good enough for me! Aren't radishes just a beautiful veg?
Welcome Colette
Dumbwit Tellher, I agree radishes are pretty veggies and tasty too, with butter and salt and a glas of wine!! Yum

Duchess,
How wonderful to discover your blog after you were kind enough to visit with me.
I have loved all things British ever since I read my first Dickens novel when I was young.
I just devoured your entire blog in one sitting! I will be back again and again.

Stumbled on your delicious blog dear Duchess and I absolutely love it. I will certainly be back to read and see more. Your blog is so bright and pink and gorgeous.
You obviously love the Royal Family so do visit my blog where I am busy posting photos from an old book which was my mother's entitled 'King Emperor's Jubilee 1910-1935' it contains some lovely old photos. I have already posted a few but there are more to come.
You deserve every Award you have received.
Will visit again soon.
I don't usually like radishes, but this sandwich looks out of this world!
That sandwich is *almost* too lovely to eat! Leave it to Queen Victoria to come up with a radish sandwich. I've only ever had them as a relish (fresh from the garden - yum!), or sliced in a salad.
Mmm, I love radishes. They're such an overlooked veg which makes me love them even more. I will be making these sandwiches soon, with tea of course!
Delish! Radish sandwiches --- my English mother made the for my sis and me often as children. Delightful!
