Good Morning Sweet Duchess, thank you for inviting me into your home this morning. I love coming for tea but this fashion invite is absolutely devine. I love all of the hats, but I have to admit if I could only pick one, it would definitely be the red one. Yes I love the red one. So striking and room moving. If your are going to wear a hat darling it has to make a statement when you come into the room. Thank you for sharing this fine morning. I am off to the commoners world of work. Country hugs and love, Sherry

I've never seen such enchantingly beautiful and creative hats. Ms. Caliendo is a very talented designer. I like her philosophy too - "I never deny myself the luxury of wearing a hat".

I love hats and often wish that I had the opportunity to wear them more often. Thank you for this lovely post and the links.

Wonderful.
Very creative post and think the hats are gorgeous.
I have never attempted to create such beauty. Perhaps I will one day as to complete a goal.
So glad you have posted this and I can read more about your friend and see her lovely hats.
Hope all is well with you, today.
Blessings,

I'm a member of the Red Hat society, but I wear pink because I'm not yet 50...anyhow, all us ladies have often wished that the hat would come back into fashion.

These are just beautiful!

This is simply breathtaking! Haven't seen anything as glamorous for a long time. I love hats - it's a pitty so little people actually wear them. Only the British still uphold that kind of elegance.
Duchess, I also just wanted to say thank you for your lovely comment and joining my followers. I think it's wonderful that you are spreading the word about Anya's amazing talent through this inspiring hat post. Hope lots of people will learn about her work. And next time I'm off to Ascot or a glamorous wedding I'll certainly give her a ring...

I love the "Fall Dreams" hat! They are all so stunning. It's too bad that hats like that aren't worn like they used to be.

Amazing post! I've never heard of this woman, but she is a sight to behold. My dearly departed Poppa loved to see women in hats and had a slight fascination with millinery. This is what sparked my interest in them as well. There is a definite art to wearing hats properly, and they are NOT for everyone. I admire any woman that really knows how to wear them. I'm in love with the Objet D'art & Fall Dreams pieces, and nothing beats a striking red hat such as "La Parisienne". A red hat just emulates class to the nth degree. How beautiful Fall Dreams would have been in my November wedding. *sigh*

We don't wear many hats in Iowa other than stocking caps for warmth. It's a pity, because I love to see a beautiful hat. ; )

Anya's creations are masterpieces! How interesting that she was inspired by photographs that were surely taken by Czar Nicholas himself. If they weren't his, may I say if you ever have a chance to see them, he was a wonderful and most talented photographer.
