Thanks for visiting my blog. Where do you live in England? My husband and I will be visiting in late October. I know it's not the most ideal time, but we found a trip that hits lots of the high spots and was a good value. Thought it would be a good introduction to England. We'll be staying in London and also traveling to Oxford, Stratford, Bath and Stonehenge as well as visiting Windsor Castle.
Even the drawings of the cakes look simply delightful...they'd definatly go well with a cream tea.

Happy Tea & Friendship Tuesday Duchess! I just love tea books. I love to get inspired by ideas and most of all to look through all the photos.
Thank you for your kind comments on my blog, for joining my followers and linking my blog to yours. I will be doing likewise.
Without checking my book shelf, I can't remember if I own this book or have given it as a gift. While my drink of choice in the morning is coffee, there is something wonderful about serving tea. I always use a pretty pot and a china teacup, even if alone. Slowing down for a few minutes to do this is a calming ritual.
This looks like a wonderful book! Thank you so much for visiting & following my blog. I love meeting new friends and how sweet of you to say those sweet things!
Enjoy your day,
Sharon

I hope none of the Brits feel I am disrespectful by using the Gueen Mum's picture. My son put my face on it. I would not even know how to do it.

Sorry Duchess it's probably my fault, no worries i'll post the message again:
