Rose Tea Cottage

Where tea is served at half past four

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway

If you're successful, you'll win some false friends & some true enemies;
Succeed anyway

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them

Oh LoVe Mother Teresa. Wasn't it just so like her to try to slip out unnoticed, under the intense media coverage of Princess Diana's passing. Thank you for this lovely post. **blows kisses** Deb

Amen Duchess,
Great post hon, and it is so true.
Mother theresa said a lot of great statements. One I really loved was when asked what we could do to promote world peace, she simply said, go home and love your family!!
How very true, cause sometimes we can treat strangers way better than we treat the ones we live with everyday. We really have to check ourselves! Thanks for sharing this inspirational post.
Blessings, Nellie

Good Morning Duchess Sweetie...
I so adore this post. Mother Teresa what a wise woman she was. I am writing this one down, so that I can remind myself every once and awhile it is okay, move on.

I loved my tea and biscuits as always, you have such a wonderful spread to share. The garden was delightful, and the birds just chirping away remind me that Spring is here and it will soon be Summer, with the laughter of children again in the yards. I love Summer.

Thank you for stopping by sweet friend. I so love it when you do. Have a beautiful day. Country hugs and so much love, Sherry
