Good Morning Sweet Duchess. Oh how beautiful your cousin looks. She made an absolutely stunning bride. I love those red shoes. Moma would have had a caniption fit if I had worn any color other than white. It would not have been appropriate back then. All white, even the stockings for goodness sake. The hankie I carried, everything white. The only thing that had any color to it was the back of my Juliet cap,and it had little blue centers to the daisies. Was so lovely, and that is the only color Mother allowed, except for the blue in my bouquet.

I love this post. Absolutely precious. Thanks for sharing lovelt lady. Please stop by and say hi. I would so love to have you for tea. Country hugs, Sherry

Oooooo, what a fun post .. love weddings, and love shoes even more! Gawd, I want all of those pls! I personally wore these super-high bronze-gold heels ... which were killing me by the end of the night, BUT they were sexy as hell, so well worth it ;)
